My background as a photographer began as a music and festival photographer, the very first gig I covered was due to me volunteering for my students union at the University of Nottingham. It was held at the Nottingham Ice Arena, hosting a talented Radio 1xtra DJ, and a rock band. From there, I found odd jobs working at the various clubs in Nottingham, my favourite being Stealth where they played DnB and Dubstep.
When I moved to London, I quickly gained experience working in some of the top music venues. As the resident music photographer for the Columbo group, I covered events at XOYO, Phonox, Camden Assembly, The Nest (bought over since), The Blues Kitchen and the Jazz Cafe. It was here that I met and photographed many talented musicians, such as Skepta, NAO, Shiftk3y, Maya Jama, & Tom Mirsch to name a few. Click here for my general events portfolio.
Finally in 2019, I decided it was time to try my first international music festival and secured a job with DGTL Concepts to help cover the photography at the Snowboxx festival in the French Alps. It was a difficult five days in the cold weather, but worth it to have partied under the stars nestled between beautiful snow-capped mountains. It was here I got the opportunity to photograph Wilkinson and Craig David (had to sign a waiver, so no photos of him will be published), just to name drop a few.
