Francesca + James Wedding Photography Story


On the 7th May 2021, Francesca & James reached out to me on an online listing site to find out if I could cover their special day. It was to be intimate gathering of close family & friends at the Temple Church in London. They were impressed with my effortless documentary wedding photography style. 


The Temple Church, is a 12th Century Gothic Church nestled in the heart of London and was the historical headquarters of the Knights Templar in Europe. For the eagle-eyed, it featured in Dan Brown's 'The Davinci Code'. It is a super exclusive venue, whereby only the members of the prominent Royal Law Society can have a wedding ceremony hosted at this ancient site! 


On the 22nd July 2021, I captured their lovely ceremony at the church and we took some images in the even more exclusive gardens only accessible by the priests.

I found Martin through the Hitched website and the process could not have been easier. Martin responded to my enquiry within a few hours and then we had a video call with my fiancé to go through the day in full detail. We were getting married in a venue that Martin had not shot at before and I was incredibly impressed with how he took the time to visit and plan the best places for our photographs before the day itself. This was very reassuring, and, on the day, Martin took all the classic wedding photos I knew I wanted but also suggested some amazing additional shots to highlight the dress, venue or guests in a way I would never have thought of. Martin was professional but also put everyone at ease, all our guests came away saying how friendly he was! The finished photos were just brilliant, Martin sent a few over within a day or so for us to enjoy and the remainder within the next week. I couldn’t have been happier and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Martin (in fact… I would actively encourage it!)
